Course objectives
The course aims to introduce students to practical use of psychomotor activities and games in life of man.
Syllabus
  • Practical seminar based on psychomotor games and exercises. It includes introduction games and activities for development of attention, concentration, motor skills, laterality, communication, cooperation, relaxation, perception of one’s body in space, etc. Psychomotricity uses non-traditional props and tools (yoghurt cups, parachute, psychomotor runabouts, pedalos, balancing props, etc.). The goal is not only to develop one’s dexterity or to strengthen physical fitness, but also to develop psychical functions, such as attention and to experience the joy of movement, play and bodily exercises. Via games psychomotricity aims to tune up the psycho-physiological status of men. It is a form of active relaxation, process of regeneration and a suitable activity towards neutralization of mental exertion.
