- Course objectives
- The main aim of this subject is to introduce students to basic approaches and to acquaint them with basic topics and problems encountered in psychology. After completing the course, students should be able to understand basics of psychological thinking, including theoretical fundamentals and possible applications, and on this ground reflect their experience.

Biological and social determinants of human psyche. Social psychology. Social learning. Social rewards and punishments. Social groups, classification and attributes of social groups. Relationship between individual and group. Abilities. Classification of abilities. Abilities and achievement. Development and nurture of psychomotor abilities. Intelligence. Theories of intelligence. Emotions Classification of emotions. Management of emotions. Motivation as a determinant of achievement. Factors of motivation. Cognitive processes. Classification of cognitive processes.
