- Course objectives
- Aim of the course in Health Law is to acquaint students with the basic structure of law, basic concepts and definitions. Basic knowledge will be the quota equally entitled to medical (responsibility of health professionals, specific activities, trade in health aspects of business, structure Health in the Republic, government in the field of health care) and practical perspective on the basic legal (selected chapters from civil law, family, labor, criminal).
- Syllabus
- 1) The structure of law, sources of law, sources of information about law and legal norms, the basic concepts. 2) Civil law material - matter, contracting, liability, damages, prevention obligation inheritance. 3) civil procedure - courts in the CR structure, the concept of official filing, the types of claims and procedures on them. 4) Family Law. 5) Employment Law - employment (creation, modification, termination), the rights and obligations of employees and employers, labor specifics of medical facilities, employment liability. 6) Criminal law - substantive and procedural part of the practical aspects. 7) Health Legislation - basic standards. 8) Liability of health care - ethical and legal. 9) Ethics in health care. 10) The structure of health services in the, central government authorities in the field of health care. 11) Medical devices - prescriptive regulation. 12) Final test and repetition.
