Course objectives
The module provides basic understanding of the influence of the sedentary lifestyle and the origin and occurrence of the most serious chronic and non-infectial diseases. After completing the module, the student will be able to explain the issues of the influence of the sedentary lifestyle on the emergence of the diseases of the civilisation, and recommend an optimal motion programme.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Absolvent předmětu bude schopen:
1. Analyzovat výsledky zátěžového a základního biochemického vyšetření;
2. Navrhnout vzhledem k možným rizikovým faktorům individuální program v oblasti podpory zdraví;
3. Navrhnout kondiční program pro zlepšení kvality života u osob s chronickým neinfekčním onemocněním.

  • Lifestyle diseases (Alzheimer's disease, Arthritis, atherosclerosis, asthma, cancer, chronic liver disease or cirrhosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, chronic renal failure, osteoporosis, stroke, depression and obesity)
  • Basics of the prescription of the effective programmes of the motion activity
  • Motion activity in higher age
  • Some pathological abnormalities, which are formed during motion and sport activities
  • Movement and handicapped persons
  • Functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system
  • Kinesiological analysis
  • Evaluation of risk factors physical activity on the musculoskeletal system
