Course objectives
The aim of the course is to ensure and hand on basic knowledge about the link of bio-psycho-socio-spiritual potential within harmony or disharmony, about regulation of psyche and behavior in relation with variables of health or illness.
Learning outcomes
Graduate of the course will be able:
- to understand basic terminology (definition) and principles of physical activity/sport - health in this context.
Syllabus
  • 01. Basic terminology: physical activity - sport - the role of sport psychology.
  • 02. Basic terminology: health - illness - healthy life style (wellbeing); historical consequencies.
  • 03. Sport psychology: ontogenetic aspect regarding healthy life style; periods of early childhood, early adolescent and senium will be stressed.
  • 04. the role of family environment, leisure time institutions. 06. Physical activities and sport in connection with specific minority groups.
  • 07. Physical activities and sport and its benefits.
  • 08. Psychosomatics, risks of pathology associated with sport.
