Course objectives
The aim of the course for students in the field of kinanthropology is to get to know individual developmental categories in children and adolescents from the perspective of health, illness and possible physical activity. Another aim is to increase the knowledge of individual chronic diseases in children and adolescents from the perspective of possible inclusion in physical activities and their benefits. The last part is the diseases of civilization, which can be prevented by suitable physical activity (nutrition, etc.).

  • General introduction - the role of parents in introducing the child's physical activity
  • Recommendations for physical activity for children by age category
  • Health and disease - possibilities of physical activity after illness within the framework of rehabilitation, physical activity of chronically ill children
  • Physical activity of children after treatment with cardiotoxic drugs and children with heart disease
  • Relation between health status and movement activity
  • Health Physical Education
  • Obesity in children, its causes, prevention of obesity
  • Obesity as a health problem
  • Physical activity to prevent obesity
  • Child Nutrition as a Prevention of Obesity, Food Pyramid The consequences of obesity, its health problems

  • Positive impact of physical activity on the child's health and its further development in adulthood.
