- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to present basic approaches, topics and issues relevant to potential profession of the graduates. E.G.: coping emotions (self-awareness and opposed site), communication (including marginal groups), coping crisis situation, team cooperation. next aim is to link the theoretical knowledge with skills practice and self-reflection.
- Learning outcomes
- After the passing the course student should be able to: - understand basic terminology and principles of functioning human psyche in situations of the crisis, - adequate communication according the population group and situation, - analyze the reasons and consequences of the crises situations, - adequate apply the knowledge and skills within practice.
- Syllabus
- -Emotion (general), specific: fear, aggression, conflicts solving.
- -Motivation, need for achievement, development, regulation.
- - Personality, experience - behavior regulation.
- - Group processes in relation with specific environment (family, institutions, etc.).
- - Authority, team management, good - bad approaches.
- -Communication with marginal groups, influence of those groups.
- - psychical and physical loading: description, prevention, coping (stress, frustration, burnt-out, fall situations).
- -Posttraumatic stress disorder.
- -Basic information from the domain of the victimology.
