Course objectives

Syllabus
  • Combatives - Introduction Basic technique - postures, transitions (between postures), arm movements, leg movements, turning the body, transfers, changing position, contact establishment, lifting, carrying and dropping of a live load (partner), falling techniques. Basic combatives - centrifugal (pulls), centripetal (pushes), opposition (resistance): pulling opposition, pushing oposition, own opposition. Karate - choku zuki, mae geri, hiza geri, age uke, nagashi uke, empi uchi, mawashi geri Judo - ógoši, ósotogari, kesa gatame, ippon seoi nage, kata gatame, waki gatame Aikido - irimi nage, ikkjó, šihó nage, kote gaeši Self-defense - techniques, law, ethics
