Course objectives
At the end of the course students will be able to understand and explain the terms of compensation and regeneration; will be able to apply the principles of compensation and regeneration in various areas of sport;
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student is able to:
1. to explain the difference between active and passive recovery
2. to analyse the athlete training loads
3. to design a suitable type of regeneration for the expected type of fatigue
4. to discuss the choice of used physical activity
3. to practice the selected type of physical activity in relation to disorder

  • Regeneration - basic concepts; The stress response; means of regeneration; Regenerative pedagogical means; Regenerative psychological means; Regenerative biological means; Regenerative pharmacological means; Compensation - basic concepts; means of compensation; Compensation in various sports
