- Course objectives
- The aim is to obtain general knowledge/view based on new research findings and theories of such domains of developmantal psychology which are relevant to the topic of disertation.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course, the student should be able to: Select and analyze relevant theories for their dissertation project with a high level of quality. Develop a review paper that includes a detailed theoretical analysis and evaluates empirical evidence. Formulate specific research questions that focus on unexplained or unexplored aspects of the theory. Create a theoretical framework that will serve as the basis for further research in their dissertation.

- Teaching methods
- Reading in this course will involve not only studying theoretical texts related to the dissertation topic but also critically analyzing and interpreting empirical studies that support or test various theories. Writing will be a key activity for preparing the review paper, which will be one of the main outputs of the course. Discussion is an essential part of the learning process and the development of the review paper. It will take place both during consultations with the supervisor.
