- Course objectives
- The course is focusing on development of relations among near-eastern countries, especially among the State Israel and its Arab neighbours. Analyzed are also relations among Arab states in the area and the role superpowers and powers played there, especially during the Cold War era.

- 1. Development in the Near-East between 1914-1939 2. Palestine in the 40s 3. Forming of Israel foreign policy and its impact on the processes in the area 4. Arab countries in the 1950s 5. Movement for Palestinian Independence 6.-7. Near East in 60s and 70s 8. Civil war in Lebanon 9. Arab states in the 80s 10. Development in the area after the end of the Cold War 11. Test

- Kurs bude ukončen zápočtem. K jeho obdržení je zapotřebí předenést referát, vypracovat seminární práci v rozsahu minimálně pěti normostran a absolvovat zápočtový test.
