- Course objectives
- The course is focusing on issues concerning social and political influence of interest groups. Attention will also be paid to theoretical specification of interest groups, their differentiation from other political subjects, identification of their position in the intermediary system including presentation of basic theoretical concepts (models) of political mediation of interests. Also will be presented main moments of historical development of organized interests, characterized individual types of interest groups and analyzed the impact of interest groups in the Czech Republic and in western democracies.
