Cíl předmětu: Získat vybrané teoretické a některé praktické znalosti o člověku a jeho kultuře, jež by zdůraznily jednotu jeho původu a zvláštnost projevů, zakotvily získané poznatky v jedinečnosti jeho bytí a univerzalitě jeho existence, a pomohly tak vysvětlit originalitu jeho chování a specifičnost, skupinovou diverzitu až originalitu vzhledu každého jedince, jakož i poznatky o působnosti a faktorech přírodního, sociálního a ideového prostředí, které ovlivňují tyto lidské atributy.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction into the anthropology: determination of the anthropology as a science, definition of its object investigation - man and culture, common method of investigation, systematization of this experiential and applicable science and its basic conception.
  • 2. Human ecology: interaction between the man and life environment, e.g. physical, chemical and biological factors of the environment and way of their activity. Biological adaptability v. cultural adaptability, ecological conditioned ethnic differences.
  • 3. Social and cultural anthropology: interaction man / man, eventually man / people and man / institution, communication, teaching, indoctrination, vector of positive social incidence through political, social and economic factors of psychosocial climate.
  • 4. Origin and development of men (phylogenesis): evolution, outstanding human characters, reversions and vestiges. Process of hominization (biological development of physical complexes: a) upper limb + chest, b) lower limbs + pelvis, c) skull + arm) plus sapientation (psychosocial development of man, indirectly supported by his culture and civilization).
  • 5. Parameters of findings in evolution progression: animal forerunner - hominoid predecessor - Australopithecus - Homo erectus - Homo neanerthalensis - Homo sapiens fossilis - Homo sapiens sapiens.
  • 6. Creation theory: mythical and scriptural conception; triad body-soul-spirit, re-incarnation.
  • 7. Religion v. faith: sacred space, time, subjects, persons and acts.
  • 8. Adaptive strategies and economic systems; filiation (kind, tribes) v. nationality v. citizenship (political systems); gender differences and marriage.
  • 9. Select manifestation of cultural anthropology: human ethology and investigation of his behavior; human body decoration and deformity; rituals, cults and myth.
  • 10. Racial anthropology: biological variation of human characters and diversity in areas based on existing ecological niche (ecosystem). Roots and consequences of racism. Characteristics of three basic races and broods in Europe.
  • 11. Determination of racial individual type.
  • 12. Somatotypology: speculative and experimental development of typology according to Hypocrates, Viola, Raven, Kraetschmer, Sheldon, Heath and Carter.
  • 13. Determination of individual somatotype: measuring, calculation and interpretation.
  • 14. Dermatoglyphics: clean genetic embedded sign, morphology and system of finger patterns, palms and soles, quantitative and qualitative scoring, standard.]
