- Course objectives
- The aim of the seminars is to understand actual drug issue and to become more familiar with basic techniques of working with clients and family.
- Syllabus
- The introduction into drug abuse issue, current drug situation in CZ, bio-psycho-social model of individual drug dependence origin, determination of particular phases /short characteristics of short term and long term effects and symptoms of certain drugs/
- Working standards in organizations
- Primary, secondary and tertiary drug abuse prevention in CZ
- Methods of work, practical training /techniques of working with clients/ - motivational interview - effective psychotherapeutic techniques for people with drug abuse - working with drug user family – Crisis intervention
