- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to undestand and explain security terminology in a foreign language and to analyze problems of translation in security and strategic studies (including cultural context).
- Syllabus
- 1. Introduction to the course; 2. Translation and comparison of terms in security and strategic studies; 3. Choice of terminological problem and language; 4. Analysis of sources; 5. Text analysis; 6. Troubles identification; 7.-12. Problems solution; 13. Final output

- Teaching methods
- The course takes the form of individual consultations, readings and home work. There are analyzed and explained terminological problems of contemporary security studies.
- Assessment methods
- The quality of seminary theisis (or its equivalent) is the most important part of the evaluation (50 points). Oral exam (10 points) deals with readings questions in relation to seminary thesis. 56-60: A 51-55: B 46-50: C 41-45: D 36-40: E 35-0: F
