Prior graduation of course EVS 105 Institutions of the European Union or its parallel enrolling is highly recommended.

Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to formulate as well as defend their own understanding of key current problems of EU decision making system.
Syllabus
  • The students are supposed to prepare themselves and discuss following topics:
  • a) EU legitimacy
  • b) Current EU decision making system - analysis on its strong and weak points
  • c) The future of decision making system in the EU

Teaching methods
The course is organized as set of three class discussions aimed at three topics desribed in the course´s outline.

The students are supposed to prepare 3 position papers and actively participate in class discussions.
