- Course objectives
- The course is conceived as an integration of four psychological fields: cognitive, emotional, motivational and social phenomena/processes.
Cognitive processes are emphasized and presented as one of possible points of view with respect to the other.
Critical thinking, a processual perspective and ability to find and analyse common mistakes people make in everyday-life situations pose the center of the course.
At the end of this course, student should be able:
1. To understand main concepts, concept relations, phenomena in the areas mentioned below. To understand and to use precisely the terminology in the area of metacognition.
2. To know the main theoretical approaches in the area of metacognition.
3. To integrate terminology and processes of cognitive, emotional, motivational and social character.
4. To analyse phenomena in these four areas from a processual perspective.
5. To analyse common mistakes people make in everyday-life situations. - Syllabus
