- Cíle předmětu
- This course will be a combination of asynchronous learning modules and in person at TRC and will include a mixture of in-class sessions, as well as field trips around Rome, and also include local experts who will come to the class and speak about the various identified class topics.
In this course, students will:
• Engage with social workers from different countries
• Explore how various countries define and practice social work
• Engage with faculty and students from different countries
• Discover different ways countries, and in particular Italy, the Czech Republic, and the US, address social issue
• Create a unique project designed to address a social issue within society - Výstupy z učení
- Successful completion of this course will enable students to:
• Describe international social work
• Differentiate how different countries practice social work
• Design a self-designed project aimed at addressing a social issue within their own communities - Osnova
