Cíle předmětu
The course focuses on the phenomenon of international regimes. The course is structured into four parts covering the theories of international regimes, security regimes, trade regimes, and normative regimes.
Výstupy z učení
Students will be able to understand the construction of regimes, their normative formation and adoption, as well as their manifestation in international interactions and impact upon policy-making. Students will be able to follow actual discusions regarding the position, influence of interantinal regimes. They will be familiar with particular perspectives relevent for these discussions and their relation to key theoretical traditions in international relations. The contomporary discussion regading the international instutions will be stresed. Outcomes on the general level include the students' ability to creatively use modern theories of international relations in expert analysis; interpret current issues in world politics based on theory; and nalyse key dimensions of international relations (security, economic, energetic, legal, and societal).

Výukové metody
The course consists mainly of lectures. Students are introduced the basic theoretical concepts that are subsequently supported by examples. The examples aim to motivate students to think about practical relevance of discussed concepts. The purpose of essays is to improve students' ability to think independently about the most important problems of international trade relations governance by international organization.
Metody hodnocení
Requirements of the Course: 1. Final written examination, 4 questions, 5 points each. 2. Essay on one of the selected topics, max. 5 points. At least 15 points and accepted essay are required for a successful conclusion of the course.
