Cíle předmětu
Seminar Bachelor thesis I is the first of two obligatory courses related to the work on bachelor thesis. The course aims to offer knowledge and skills necessary for successful completion of the design of the thesis. At the end of the course students should finish prepare a research proposal including formulation of research questions and/or hypotheses, finding and discussing relevant sources and data related to the topic of the thesis and getting familiar with the methods and techniques suitable for conducting of the thesis related research.
Výstupy z učení
After completing the course, students will be able to: design a bachelor thesis project; analyze current scientific knowledge and identify a research gap in the chosen area; to formulate the aim of the thesis and the methods necessary to fulfil it; apply knowledge and skills from previous studies.

Výukové metody
The student participates in individual consultations with the supervisor in all stages of thesis design preparation. Reading of the existing literature related to the topic of the thesis as well as of the literature on research design.
Metody hodnocení
This course takes the form of individual consultations of students’ theses proposals with their supervisors. It concludes with a credit granted by the supervisor on the basis of the evaluation of the work during the semester and the final version of the research design The course can be successfully passed in the regular term after the text was uploaded in the IS. In case it is uploaded after this deadline (or by the end of the examination period by latest), the course can be passed in the resit.
