- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to enhance the student's self-study on the theoretical framework of their doctoral thesis. It is based on the student's self-study of the theoretical and empirical literature in the field defined by the topic of their doctoral thesis. Tasks in the course focus on the identification and reading of (1) the theoretical literature constituting the general theoretical basis of the student's thesis and (2) the literature that constitutes the current state of knowledge in the given field. At the end of the course the student will produce a comprehensive mapping of problems connected with the thesis topic and a related field discussion, part of which will be the identification of the theories and concepts that are key to the dissertation.

- Syllabus
