- Course objectives
- A compulsory-elective course provided either by the department (i.e. a supervisor or an internal or external teacher) or an externally organized workshop or course (typically delivered by MU or a workshop/course offered by other home or foreign department). Students will become acquainted with the existing grant schemes and their specifics, as well as with the principles of design, submission, preparation and management of research projects. Practical skills will be used to prepare the application for a specific project in relation to their research, the specific research project or the project (GAČR, TAČR, etc.) in which the student is a member of the team or co-researcher. At the end of the course, the student will have an overview of grant opportunities and know-how related to the project application process.

- The course develops learning outcomes No.1, 3 and 5.
- Syllabus
- To be awarded with the credit, the student is expected to participate actively in the seminar session, or to submit an elaborated proposal of the research project in accordance with the extent of the course. In the case of an externally organized course, the credit is awarded by the supervisor and is based on the decision of the guarantor of the subject.
