- Course objectives
- Course provides basic information about the basic trends and key concepts of sociology. It is organised in four thematic blocks: (a) sociology as a form of knowledge, (b) individual and society, (c) structures of power, (d) social change. The course seeks to uncover the interdependence between the biographical experience of individual social actors and historical dynamics of the institutional structures of society.
At the end of this course, students should be able to understand basic concepts of sociology. - Syllabus
