Course objectives
The subject aims at the ability to understand the contemporary world and its globlisation problems from the point of view of Cultural Anthropolgy.
At the end of this course, student should be able:
Describe the field of the relation of man and culture. Explain the historical anthropological mainstream theories and their meaning for the solving of the contemporary social or cultural problems. Express the meaning of the status, the role in general and in some particular cases, e.g. status of woman in society, status of child etc. Expound the meaning of symbols in traditional customs, rites and rituals. Reproduce basic information from psychological anthropology and anthropology of religion.

Teaching methods
Monology preferentially lecture, alternativelyexplanation. Dialogue method based on the discussion and dialoque on a in advance chosen topic,or, alternativelly literature. The subject matter analysis of the text.
