The course is primarily designed for students who come to the Department of Social Policy and Social Work under the Erasmus student mobility programme. Its aim is to provide field work experience to foreign students in the field of social work at workplaces designated for this purpose by the Department. - Course objectives
- CONDITIONS OF COURSE COMPLETION: The completion of the SPR600 course and its entering in the Information System (IS) requires the fulfilment of 5 conditions: (1) Meeting all formal requirements; (2) Fulfilment of field-work in the extent stipulated by the teacher and/or field-work organization; (3) Participation in a one-off theoretical preparation course focusing on the conditions of performing social work in the Czech Republic; (4) Participation in continuous supervision of the field work; (5) Submission of a final paper of the field-work experience.
- Syllabus
- • Successful passing of the SPR600 course for Erasmus students is conditioned by social field work concluded in a selected organization in the Czech Republic. • The intent to register for SPR600 = Social Field Work in the Czech Republic is expressed by the students in the course of planning their study programme at FSS and at the Department of Social Policy and Social Work: o All details are communicated to the Erasmus coordinator at the Department; o The Department Erasmus coordinator provides students with information on the focus of the course and conditions of successfully concluded field work – by sending a relevant link to CEPES website or sending course syllabus; o The Department Erasmus coordinator also provides students with a basic list of organizations (including their brief descriptions) where the field work may be done.
