- Course objectives
- The course deals with notions and types of political parties and party systems. The students will have outlook on party politics in modern democracies.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain notions and concepts of political parties and party systems. They also have knowledge of current party politics.

- 1. Introduction. 2. Theory of political parties I. 3. Theory of political parties II. 4. Theory of party systems I. 5. Theory of party systems II. 6. Election systems and party systems. 7.-12. Party systems of France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Poland etc. The syllabus with details can be found in IS e-folder.
