- Course objectives
- We shall investigate the development and the state of competitive politics in the region. The course is divided into three sections: (absence of) democratic prerequisites and the transition to democracy in 1989 (topics 1-4), performance of political institutions after regime change (témy 5-9) , and questions of democratic deconsolidationa dn democratic backsliding in the region.
- Learning outcomes (in Czech)
- Po absolvovaní kurzu dokážu študenti porozumieť politickým a ekonomickým predpokladom a súvislostiam zmeny režimu a fungovaniu nových režimov v strednej a východnej Európe, interpretovať nadobudnuté poznatky prostredníctvom teoretických a analytických nástrojov komparatívnej politológie a lepšie využívať a rozvíjať vlastné kognitívne a komunikačné zručnosti.

Essays: Úlohou bude zodpovedať na zadanie, ktoré bude študentom sprístupnené počas štvrtého a desiateho týždňa semestra. Pri koncipovaní odpovedí študenti vychádzajú z prednášok aj povinnej literatúry a svoje odpovede podporia odkazmi na relevantné zdroje.
Písomná skúška: Otvorené otázky (cca 5), študenti vo svojich odpovediach vychádzajú z prednášok a povinnej literatúry. - Language of instruction
