Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce security and strategic studies as a distinct scientific discipline and to explain the concept of its teaching and interconnection with practice. Another aim is to teach students the basics of academic research, writing, citation and ethics. Upon completion of the course, students will have mastered the fundamentals of scholarly work and the terminology of security and strategic studies and will know the basic history of the field and its theoretical and methodological foundations.
Learning outcomes
Students should be able to understand the specific character of the security and strategic studies and to acquire their basic scientific standards, terminology, approaches and history of the field.
