- Student becomes familiar with theory, practice and research in contemporary family therapy, particlarly from systemic view of point.
- Learning outcomes
- Student becomes familiar with diversity of approaches in current family therapy in the Czech republic and worldwide as well.
- Syllabus
- Roots of family therapy, development of systemic ideas.
- Family as a potential partner in therapeutic collaboration.
- Developmental view at families.
- Interpersonal neurobiology.
- The main approaches in family therapy (according to A. Carr), key periods in development of family therapy.
- Contemporary f.t. and systemic practice.
- Postomodermn philosophy and social constructionism.
- Integration in f.t.
- Evidence-based models of efficacy.
- Requirements in the therapeutic process, reflecting team, supervision, ethics.
