- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic principles of academic writing. Students will become familiar with academic genres, norms of proper citation, academic style of writing and academic ethics. Different sources and their critical reading will be introduced. New skills will be deepened by short homework and class discussion. Finally students will be able to find relevant sources for their research, write a text in proper style and follow the proper citation norms. Students will be able to get skills which are necessary for writing of during their studies.

- After completing the course students will be able to: - be able to gather sources necessary to write an academic text - critically read texts - write a text in academic style of writing - apply the norms for proper citation of sources - avoid plagiarism or other violations of academic ethics
