Course objectives
The purpose of the course is to extend the student’s skills of individual creative work, improve the skills of complex elaboration of particular issue relating to the topic of the dissertation thesis, stating his own conclusions and opinions in a foreign language. The purpose of the course is to lead the student to independent creative work at a level of at least the standard in the given field and the ability to publish the achieved results in an appropriate format abroad and in a foreign language. The aim is, in particular, to develop the ability to select an appropriate topic for publication, to develop the ability to elaborate this topic at a professional level in an appropriate structure, to clearly define the subject and aim of the text, to formulate conclusions, to master the publication process, including the peer review process.
Learning outcomes
The student will gain experience in the preparation of a professional publication and develop the skills necessary for this, especially the ability to select an appropriate topic, the ability to develop this topic at a professional level in an appropriate structure, to clearly define the subject and objective of the text, to formulate conclusions, to manage the publication process, including peer review. At the same time, the output is the actual advancement of the student in the area addressed in the publication, i.e. the elaboration of part of the dissertation topic.
