Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to extend the understanding of enforcement of international and crtically discuss its advantages and disdvantages.
Learning outcomes
A better understanding of enforcement of international law and the ability to discuss about it in a broader context.

  • -the concept of enforcement of international norms, difference to domestic enforcement - the relation between enforcement and responsbility - sanctions and countermeasures -the use of force -dispute settlement

Teaching methods
Two presentation - one given by the teacher for students, the second given by students in front of the teacher. Both presentations will be followed by discussion.
