Course objectives
The course of Consulting on financial marketsrepares students to pass a broker's exam and become a broker in the area of investing in investment instruments. Students will get acquainted with principles of the financial market, regulation of the capital market, foreign capital markets, investment instruments, operations in stock market and after-hours dealing, principles of trading in the financial market, organization of activities of a broker, collective investment and investment strategies.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to: - successfully complete a broker's exam; - describe principles and functioning of financial markets; - characterize investment, investment instruments, investment services, portfolio and investment strategies; - define how regulation of the capital market works; - clarify the issue of international capital markets; - explain principles of trading in financial markets; - describe collective investment; - clarify financial analysis of a firm; - explain specific activities of a securities trader.

Teaching methods
Synchronous form through three continuous mandatory group consultations implemented online, the following methods will be implemented: group and cooperative learning, critical thinking, project-based learning, problem solving from practice, brainstorming, emphasis will be placed on providing feedback. Study materials, fulfilling assignments, interactive syllabus, online quizzes.
Assessment methods
Prerequisites for passing the course include an examination test, active preparation during the semester, continuous fulfilment of assigned responsibilities, preparation of the assigned study. The course is completed with an written exam.
