- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to the fundamentals of the methodology of legal interpretation and argumentation with special respect to the needs of interpretation and application of law in public adminstration. The basis of this course is formed by general legal methodology oriented towards public law, especially administrative law.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: 1) master the basic methods of legal interpretation and argumentation 2) apply these methods to practical examples 3) critically assess the correctness of the application of these methods
- Syllabus
- 1) Legal interpretation and argumentation, their role in the rule of law 2) Preface to the theory of legal intepretation (legal methodology) 3) Methods of legal interpretation and traditional legal arguments 4) Uncertain concepts and administrative Law 5) Administrative courts and their case Law 6) Hard cases of administrative law
