Course objectives
The subject of studies will be the social policy and welfare state, legal bases, objectives and content of social policy in primary law of EC. Then also development, place and importance of social policy in EU including the most important documents. After this basic knowledge the secondary law especially directives and decisions concerning labour law will be the matter of studies.
Syllabus
  • Notion of social policy, welfare state, importance, development and purposes of social policy in EU, basic documents in the sphere of social policy, the most important institutions, social policy in primary law, important regulations and directives concerning labour law and social security, decisions of the Court of Justice and last development in the field of social policy in EU.
