- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to gain deep theoretical knowledge, as well as the ability to use in practise the important institutes of the general part of administrative law, such as the institutes determining functional aspect (activity) of the public administration, its decision making processes and reviewing procedures, as well as the public administration’s liability and judicial supervision of public administration. The main institutes will be taught in relation to the Europeanization of administrative law and current reforms of public administration that are reflected in legal regulation of public administration and in the relevant judicature.
- Syllabus
- European administrative law, interpretation of administrative law rules, discretionary powers of public administration, normative powers of public administration, theoretical aspects of local self-government, right to information and personal data protection in public administration, legal guarantees in public administration, judicial supervision of public administration, liability for damage and liability for immaterial damage caused by the public administration’s activity, civil service and regional government clerk’s position, public administration ethics.
