They are determined according to the principles set by the doctoral board of the relevant program. The aim is to complete the core parts of the work, to formulate key ideas, to continuously obtain feedback and to improve the text, while developing the corresponding skills.
Learning outcomes
Specific outputs are always based on the individual study plan and its semester content. They are determined according to the principles set by the doctoral board of the relevant program. Unless otherwise specified by this procedure, the outputs typically include:
- progress in solving individual questions that are the subject of the dissertation,
- drafting of working text of individual dissertation chapters, completion of the core part of the thesis
- getting feedback and in response to it getting the possibility to edit the text as well as to develop relevant skills; for this purpose there is also a discussion meeting (whose format and composition will be determined by the supervisor), where partial outputs are presented and discussed
Syllabus
  • The syllabus is prepared individually after agreement with the supervisor within the framework of the individual study plan. It usually includes detailed solutions of individual questions in relation to the selected concept. Continuous work on the individual chapters of the dissertation continues, they consult with specific sub-topics, while the student actively seeks opportunities for gaining further knowledge as well as feedback on the processed outputs. It completes the core parts of the work and formulates key ideas. Discussion of these outcomes at the discussion meeting (whose format and composition will be determined by the supervisor), together with the plan for further progress, is usually a milestone of study, the fulfillment of which is an obligation stipulated in the individual study plan.
Literature
  • Literatura je samostatně vyhledána studentem na základě případných doporučení školitele a dalších osob. Odvíjí se od tématu disertační práce. (Literature is independently searched by the student based on possible recommendations of the supervisor)
