Prerequisites
The basic prerequisite for starting the course in International Private Law can be seen in at least essential knowledge of Civil Law and Business Law.

Course objectives
The aim of this course is to make the students familiar with and aware of the issues of legal regulation in the regimes of private legal relations with an foreign element. This basic course preceedes two other courses: European International Private Law and International Private Law in the practice of courts.
Syllabus
  • Sources, methods of International Private Law /choice of law, uniform law/. General issues of the choice of law - classification, renvoi etc. Public order.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
V souladu se Statutem jsou přednášky nepovinné. Semináře jsou povinné. Vzhledem k charakteru tohoto předmětu je konán až na závěr výuky test. Podmínkou získání zápočtu je složení testu a účast na seminářích.
