- Course objectives
- The aim of this field of study is to learn about basic notions and functions of a modern state. The outset of the study programme is, in particular, the institutional notion of state and its basic characterisation. Attention is paid for the structure and activity of modern state and status of individual in the context of further concepted questions of democracy, constitutionality and self-government.

- State and its characterisation, subject and methods of science of state, state and society, developement of the state doctrine, modern state, its signs and organisation, activity of modern state and its functions, democracy and state, modern state and status of individual, constitution and modern state, the term and ranking of state form and forms of government, parliament, parliamentarism and legislative, head of state, governmetal and executive bodies, organs and other tools of protection of law, territorial organisation of state and its forms, self-government.
