Course objectives
The aim and purpose of the course is to gain knowledge about issue of Public Administration, its form, evolution, expression and organization. After successful completion of this course the student will know what the public administration is. Student acquire knowledge on the shape and organization of Public Administration, including its current form in the Czech Republic. Student will also have knowledge about the development of Public Administration at the time, including scientific approaches and examining Public Administration. Furthermore, the student will be able to focus on a broader European basis of Public Administration. In addition, student will know that the Public Administration has the aspect of personnel and economic respectively. financial. After successful completion of this course, students acquire knowledge which they can then use in further studies of public events such as Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Financial Law and others.

  • 1) Public Administration, its concept and characteristics. Public Administration activity
  • 2) Scientific approaches to Public Administrations; basics of Administrative Science, exploration of Public Administration in the European context,
  • 3) Public Administration as organizations and organization of Public Administration; administrative authority as executor of Public Administration
  • 4) The history and development of the organization of Public Administration; reform of Public Administration organizations,
  • 5) State and Local Administration; Contemporary public organization
  • 6) Self-government and its organizations
  • 7) Public Administration and its manifestations in specific areas such as environmental protection, financial administration, etc.
  • 8) The economic grounds of Public Administration
  • 9) Personnel grounds of Public Administration and Public Service
  • 10) Public Administration from the perspective of the persons
  • 11) Informatization of Public Administration; E-government; Transparency and Confidentiality in Public Administration
