The purpose of this course is to expose the student to the principal doctrines upon which commercial papers and securities are based. Although it focuses on commercial paper, the bank collection process, securities transfer and their issue, related aspects of securities market are embraced.

Course objectives
The purpose of this course is to expose the student to the principal doctrines upon which commercial papers and securities are based. Although it focuses on commercial paper, the bank collection process, securities transfer and their issue, related aspects of securities market are also embraced. Students should have a thorough knowledge and systematic understanding of key theories and debates, and a critical awareness of current problems and new insights, at the regulation of securities.

The course should shown students how to use commercial and securities (bills, notes, bonds, shares) in practice.
