Course objectives
The course is assigned for the purposes of Summer School of ICT Law as a joint project of the European Academy of Law and ICT (whereas MU is one of members) that consists of one week of intense courses in ICT Law.
Learning outcomes
Each year's syllabus is a matter of a specific decision taken by the European Academy of Law and ICT. In general, students are upon successful completion of the Summer School able to
Understand the complexity of the system of ICT law
Practically analyse and resolve particular problematic issues in privacy and data protection
Practically analyse and resolve particular problematic issues in on-line protection of intellectual property
Practically analyse and resolve particular problematic issues in ISP liability, geolocation and similar concepts
Practically analyse and resolve particular problematic issues in use of electronic documents

  • Basic methodology of ICT law; e-commerce law; data protection; telecommunications law; cybercrime; eGovernment/eJustice; law of domain names; intellectual property
