- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with an overview of securities regulation, its functions and economic effect. The course is taught on a security-by-security basis with emphasis on stocks, bonds and notes. However, the explanation also includes basic information on capital market trading and the specific impact of a security's listing

- Securities and book-entry securities - nature, function, importance in practice, electronic securities
- Investment in securities, book-entry of CP, issue of CP, trading with CP
- Bills of exchange - parties to the bill of exchange, particulars - disputable issues, signing of bills of exchange and falsification of the text

- Emphasis is placed on teaching in seminars, which involves more demanding preparation and the use of alternative resources.

- Access to the exam is conditional on active participation in the seminar lessons. The exam is written with a simple A/N test.
