- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- to introduce the basic concepts, institutes and principles of criminal procedural law, to provide orientation in the individual stages of criminal proceedings. From the entire material, parts are selected that are related to the focus and needs of students of this type of study.
- Learning outcomes
- to acquire basic knowledge and orientation in this subject and its crucial parts, to provide a basic overview of other basic sources of criminal procedural law in addition to the Criminal Procedure Code.
- Syllabus
- selected basic issues - the concept of criminal procedural law and criminal proceedings, basic procedural principles within the meaning of Section 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code, including those regulated in the special part of the Criminal Procedure Code, subjects of criminal proceedings, in particular the authorities involved in criminal proceedings, the accused, the defence counsel, the victim, means of seizure of persons and things, the basics of evidence and the law of evidence, individual stages of criminal proceedings, preliminary proceedings, preliminary hearing of the indictment, main trial, appeal proceedings, the issue of diversions.
