- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to the fundamentals of the methodology of legal interpretation and argumentation.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: 1) master the basic methods of legal interpretation and argumentation 2) apply these methods to practical examples 3) critically assess the correctness of the application of these methods
- Syllabus
- 1) Why do lawyers so often disagree? 2) Why do we need to interpret legal texts? 3) Why do we need to justify our legal opinion? 4) Is there (specifically) legal thinking? 5) Is there one right answer to every legal question?
