Course objectives
The subject is conceived as theoretical. The aim is to obtain basic information on procedures that allow the security and peroperative care of patients undergoing surgery or diagnostic procedures in general or local anesthesia in all age groups
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - describe and explain individual types of anesthesia;
- describe and explain anesthesia preoperative preparation of the patient;
- to clarify the specificity of anesthesiology techniques for the different operating disciplines;
- interpret the values of anesthesia monitoring and vital vital functions;

  • Anesthesiology ambulance, preoperative examination, premedication, ASA classification. Anesthesiology workplace equipment, respiratory system variants, anesthesia devices. Pharmaka used in general anesthesia. Ensuring airway passage during anesthesia. Total anesthesia, complications, solutions. Local anesthesia, complications, solutions. Anesthesia in abdominal surgery and urgent surgery. Anesthesia in endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. Anesthesia in gynecology and obstetrics. Anesthesia in thoracic surgery. Anesthesia in vascular surgery and cardiac surgery. Anesthesia in neurosurgery. Anesthesia in orthopedics. Anesthesia in otorhinolaryngology, stomatosurgery and ophthalmosurgery Anesthesia for Outpatient Operations, Adult Room.
