- Course objectives
- The Obstetrics and Gynecology course involves the supervision and appropriate intervention during, normal and complicated pregnancy and delivery, as well as the recognition, prevention, management and surveillance of diseases affecting reproductive health in women. The course gives students understanding and basic knowledge in epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and prevention of common problems in obstetrics and gynecology; reproductive health matters, including family planning, infertility and maternal care, emphasizing wellness and prevention in addition to treatment of disease.

- The course gives students understanding and basic knowledge in epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and prevention of common problems in obstetrics and gynecology. - accepts the connection of its own problematics with nutrition
- Syllabus
- 1. Non-humoral management of the menstrual cycle. 2.Gynecological endocrinology. 3. Planned parenthood. 4.Sterilita. 5.Acute events in gynecology. 6.Gynecological oncology, senology. 7.Urogynology, pelvic statics disorders. 8. Inflammations in gynecology, STD. 9.Prenatal care. 10. Risk of pregnancy, diseases in pregnancy. 11.Prenatal diagnostics, perinatal medicine. 12. Sudden events in obstetrics. 13. Spontaneous childbirth, new directions in labor delivery. 14. Obstetric operations. 15. Physiological and pathological newborn. 16. Nutrition after delivery.

- Gynecology and obstetrics according syllabus with video presentations, topics are consulted with students. Active work with documentation. Teaching schedule includes theoretical session, teaching and learning with students formative assessment of clinical case.
