- Course objectives
- In this subject students will repeat knowledge from bachelor education. Knowledges gain for application special contact lenses, toric, cosmetic, prosthetic. They learn how to correct visual disorders with lower occurrence such as high anisometropia, high or irregular astigmatism. Further content of this subject is application of cover therapeutical contact lenses and drugt-delivering.The student understands the benefits of refractive surgery and other methods such as CXL, keraring.
- Learning outcomes
- The student uses the possibility of measuring methods, evaluation of the anterior eye with the subsequent selection of the contact lenses geometry. Students will be introduced to new technologies in contactology, both in the field of contact lenses and in the field of care.

- 1) Repeating of basic principles 2) Confrontation of self experiences with application 3) Special contact lenses and their application 4) Refraction test, principles of visual optometry and correction with contact lens 5) Prosthetic contact lenses, indication, applications 6) Cover, and therapeutical contact lenses, drug-delivering lenses 7) News in hygiene of contact lenses

- lecture, examination Course completion requirements are notified to students in the first teaching block including a bibliographic review. The condition for taking the exam is full participation in practices and submission, respectively presentation of seminar work. The exam takes the form of a test review of the curriculum, at least 85% of success, then student accesses the oral examination.
