- Course objectives
- In the course, students will learn about the methodology of research activities, basic methods of conducting research activities and the most common tools for data collection. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to design feasible research, including a specific study design.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to: • apply methods of modern scientific research, • to set out suitable topics for research in healthcare, • describe the stages of the research process and their content, • describe qualitative and quantitative research designs, • to draw up a research plan, • to formulate goals, hypotheses, research questions, • design a research tool,

- Characteristics, specifics, and importance of research in healthcare. • Selection of suitable topics for healthcare research. • Nursing and Evidence-Based Practice (EBP, EBN). • Research process (phase of research). • Research methods (qualitative and quantitative research). • Formulation of research problem. • Hypothesis, formulation of hypothesis. • Research sample. • Methods of collecting researchers' data research.
