The prerequisite for the course is the basic knowledge of science and research in health care acquired in the course Methodology of Science and Research I - Seminar.

Course objectives
Students will get acquainted with the methodology of research activities, with the basic methods of conducting research activities. After completing the course, students will be able to participate in research projects as both designers and researchers. Graduates will be able to apply modern scientifically verified research methods in research. They will acquire the skill of creative approach to problem-solving in medical practice.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - apply methods of modern scientific research, • - to set out suitable topics for research in nursing • - describe the stages of the research process and their content, • - describe qualitative and quantitative research designs, • - to draw up a research plan, • - to formulate goals, hypotheses, research questions, • - design a research tool, • - snalyze research data, • - describe principles of ethics of research work and publishing ethics, • - apply the legislative standards set for scientific research on, human.
